About the Artist

Mouzan Hamad is a Saudi artist. His creative journey began in 2006 with photography, and has since expanded outward first into digital photographic art, then into abstract painting , forming a connected body of work rooted in an artist's way of seeing. 

A single thread runs through it all : a search for what goes unseen. In the fine details of nature, in fleeting moments, in everyday scenes the eye learns to stop noticing this is what he tries to bring together across medium and subjects.In his photographic series, he focuses on nature and the surrounding life from deserts to forests and on the fleeting moments he captures along his travels.

In his digital photographic art, he begins with the original image and transforms branches and natural elements into harmonious ornamental compositions, drawing inspiration from the art of Arabesque. In his painting the lens widens from the small detail to a larger rhythm toward abstract works that evoke moments of emergence and becoming .
